This Is My Letter To The World
This is my letter to the world,
That never wrote to me,--
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.
Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet countrymen,
Judge tenderly of me!

The Unspoken Message
Here's my unspoken message to the world...
All of those who did not understand me:
The words and thoughts are every one contained
In the images I paint, you see.
Some poems I write are born through timeless scripts
Whose design gives construct and conceit,
Presented to reader on silver leaf,
Sumptuous feast meant for dining replete.
A poem is not a poem, you see
If written to please the critical eye,
Unless each chosen word means two or three...
Without it contains the self-soul reply.
Poetry is not just words strung carefree;
It is art that is divinely inspired,
Given with a heavenly account required,
Bestowed on the poet, never acquired.
